Woolly Mammoth DNA

DNA extracted from a 10,000 year old frozen Woolly Mammoth has been sequenced by Japanese scientists. They found that the Woolly Mammoth is more closely related to Asian than African elephants. Mark McConaughy has the word on our bulletin board.
