The unfolding awfulness of Katrina also has a cultural component, and although it seems a little callous to worry about the cultural losses to the city when so many people have yet to be safe, I've opened up a place on the bulletin board to post concerns, information on the museums and resources, news about students and archaeologists needing help, or just a place to mourn New Orleans or rant about the human conditions.
