At its height about 500 BC, the Persian empire had conquered Asia as far as the Indus River, Greece, and North Africa including what is now Egypt and Libya. As I was finishing this addition to the Glossary, I realized I had no place to put it, so I created a new page for The Persian Empire, collected all my sundry pieces about the Persian Empire into it, threw in some excellent exterior resources, and added it to my group of Ancient Civlizations.
