Axumite Civilization

The Axumite civilization was a Coptic state in Ethiopia, from about AD 100-800. The capital city of Aksum controlled much of the trade between the Roman empire and Arabia. Including a photograph of an obelisk, 20 meters tall, by Niall Crotty.
