Archaeology news sources have blossomed in the past few years. In 2000, I listened to a Society for American Archaeology panel discussion on archaeology news, where five science writers told us that they had too many other things to write about, and they would not cover archaeology news unless it reported the oldest or sexiest archaeology. Things have really changed since then.
