The Queen of Sheba will be the first legend covered in the series starting Wednesday in Michael Woods' PBS Myths and Heroes. The Queen of Sheba is sometimes portrayed as overtly masculine and the daughter of a demon. She visited the Biblical King Solomon and may have converted from her polytheistic faith to the monotheism of Judaism in order to marry the king.
