As the trial of Marion True, former curator at the Getty Museum, and American art dealer Robert Hecht, gets underway in Italy, the press is beginning to speculate on the ramifications of the court case and possible verdict. Several museums in the United States have been accused of receiving looted artifacts, not just the Getty, and True may be the first of many museum personnel investigated. Whether it's fair to pick out Marion True or not is probably an excellent question, but one I can't answer:
