I've been submitting a copy of the electronic newsletter to the various listserve discussion groups I belong to for quite a while now, under the moniker "Random Samples". Unfortunately, I just realized that the name "Random Samples" has been used by Science magazine, and, to reduce the amount of confusion that might be caused (cough), I've decided to change the name. But to what? I asked for suggestions, and presented five of them in a poll; but in the meantime have received several more excellent ones. Take a look, vote your preference or make a suggestion!
