Anglo-Georgian Expedition to Nokalakevi

The village and citadel of Nokalakevi is located on the Colchian Plain in Georgia, and has occupations dated between the Late Bronze Age through the Medieval period. Excavations at Nokalakevi have been sponsored, in part, by the British Academy Black Sea Initiative, and conduct annual field schools with volunteers.
