Another interesting article in the online version of Archaeology magazine this month concerns investigations by mummy expert Bob Brier into the identity of an Egyptian mummy excavated by Gaston Maspero in the 19th century. In this brief abstract to the article in March/April issue, Brier reports that the mummy may be Prince Pentewere, the son of Ramesses III, who was involved in a criminal conspiracy against his father.
