The University of Tennessee's Classics department will conduct a field school in Greece this year, from June 15-August 2, 2006. The aim of the field school is to explore the archaeology of Greece focusing on the Bronze Age and Early Iron Age, at the site of Mitrou, a tidal islet on the North Euboean Gulf of central Greece.The photograph of the island of Mitrou was provided courtesy of Aleydis Van de Moortel at the University of Tennessee.
