Curious George and Archaeology

There's an opinion piece in the Seattle Stateman by archaeologist Ann M. Nicgorski concerning the movie Curious George, in movie theatres right now. Nicgorski argues that along the way of changing the human hero Ted's profession from the original big animal hunter to an archaeologist/curator, the film's producers continue to support the notion that Western museums have a right to collect artifacts from other countries and bring 'em on home.

I have to admit I haven't seen the movie yet, but Nicgorski's sounds like a legitimate concern, given the recent (and long considered) discussions about museums and cultural heritage.
