This interview and biography of Hawaiian archaeologist Yosihiko Sinoto is by Mary Kaye Ritz in the Honolulu Advertiser, and was posted by Paul Kekai Manansala of the Quests of the Dragon and Bird Clan blog. Sinoto, long time Senior Researcher at the Bishop Museum, is probably best known for his work on archaeological sites throughout Polynesia, primarily on the origins of human settlement there. The interview with Dr. Sinoto includes reflections on his less-than-ideal mentor/protege relationship with the eminent ethnographer Kenneth Emory.
