Gail Myhre, special correspondent to the Art History page here at About, went to see the fabulous Tree of Paradise exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum. About Archaeology got a glimpse of the images from that exhibition last fall when it opened, including a collection of Roman mosaics and other artifacts from an excavated Jewish Synagogue dated to the 3rd to 5th century AD in what is now Tunisia. Gail was given a special tour by curator Dr. Edward Bleiberg, which was recorded and transcribed especially for About.
