Just heard it was possible to download the newly reported gnostic Gospel of Judas Iscariot, discovered at near El Minya, Egypt in the 1970s and recently translated. The Tchados Codex, an ancient book written in Coptic and dated to about 300 AD, turned up in a private collection in 2000; and a group of scholars spent several years authenticating and translating the text. The fact that it only took them five years to complete the translation is something of a modern-day miracle; the Nag 'Hammadi library was translated over a period of 25 years and the Dead Sea Scrolls took over 50 years.

Apparently, the Tchados Codex is a Coptic translation of the original Greek manuscript, written by gnostic Christians in the late 2nd century AD. National Geographic has images of the codex pages, and downloadable pdfs of both the Coptic and English translations of this text.
