Even if you're not fond of statistics, I can't think of a better place to take in some more learning about them than in the southern Tuscany region of Italy. The 16th Annual International Summer School in Archaeology from the University of Siena on Quantitative Methods and Data Analysis is aimed at students, post-graduates, researchers and professionals in the field wishing to strengthen their skills in quantitative methods and data analysis. The school will be held at the Villa Lanzi, near Campiglia Marittima (South Tuscany), near the Archaeological-Mines Park of San Silvestro, between September 10-17, 2006, with lectures by an international team of scholars. Doesn't that sound wonderful?
