If you're a frequent reader of this column, you know how crazy I am about Flickr, a site where people share photographs of all kinds. I've used many photographs from my Flickr pals, most recently with the Chichén Itzá tour. Wessex Archaeology, often at the forefront of the use of technology for dissemination of public archaeology, has used Flickr as a repository for all kinds of photographs of archaeology in action, and recently they announced that they've uploaded over 200 photos from field and laboratory excavations. The Wessex Archaeology gallery is a great way to get a good idea on what field archaeology looks like.
