The University of Sussex's Centre for Continuing Education are running a number of practical archaeology courses this summer, including excavation training, planning and section drawing, surveying, photography, and on-site conservation. Dates are four weeks between July 17-August 11, 2006; the excavations are focused on a Roman villa in East Sussex, England. Students (suitable for beginners or those with some experience) may sign up for any one or more weeks, including single day courses in archaeology photography and conservation.
