Researchers at Queen's University of Belfast have put together maps and information on 13 towns in Wales and England, all built during the reign of Edward I (ruled AD 1272-1307). The maps are interactive, and each town has a history associated with it. Hosted by ADS (the Archaeology Data Service), the project features the first town plats of Aberystwyth, Beaumaris, Caernarfon, Caerwys, Conwy, Cricieth, Flint, Harlech, Holt, Newborough, Overton, Rhuddlan, and Winchelsea.
