Last week, the ever-inventive Anita Cohen-Williams announced a social network space for archaeologists, including a group blog where members post their questions, fieldwork and news stories. Called Archaeoseek, membership is open to professional archaeologists, students, and avocational archaeologists. In a posting dated March 7th Anita warns the site is for 'real' archaeologists: "i.e. those engaged or interested in the study of archaeology. No creationists or crackpots need apply."
