Recently I received an email from Geoff Jones of ArchaeoPhysics, taking exception to my conflating the two concepts of Remote Sensing and Geophysical Survey. As is my wont, I asked him to explain, and he kindly produced two new definitions to add to the Dictionary of Archaeology:
