Site of the Day: Jericho (Palestine, Israel)

The site of Jericho, located in the West Bank of Israel) is probably best known for its biblical connections (the Judeo-Christian Bronze Age occupation). But Jericho has an important Neolithic occupation as well, and was an important site with respect to the spread of domesticated crops and the farming lifestyle.
