This week's photo essay is a fun one for me--it's on Qin Dynasty emperor Shihuangdi's fabulous terracotta army. There's something so over-the-top about building a life-sized army of soldiers and horses and chariots and other stuff, and then sealing it away for what was planned to be eternity, isn't there?
