A sixteen minute video presented on The Archaeology Channel this week describes investigations in the Mosfell valley of Iceland, where Vikings first established a colony in the 9th century AD. Written by Steven Ross in 2004, the video includes footage of the excavation and a bit of a history lesson on the Vikings.
