If you are anywhere near Philadelphia this winter, the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology has a new exhibit on photographs of the Lewis and Clark Trail, called Lewis and Clark Revisited: A Trail in Modern Day.
The exhibition includes sixty black and white photographs taken by California State University professor emeritus Greg MacGregor between 1993 and 1999, as he followed the route of Lewis and Clark between St. Charles, Missouri and the Pacific Ocean. The stunning black and white photos show how much has changed along the way, and how little.
The exhibit is at the Museum from December 15th, 2007 through February 10th, 2008. MacGregor's home page presents 92 of these images for those who can't get to see the originals.
