A new way to get the latest archaeological news and stories is Past Horizons, to be published six times a year in a free online format. This latest venture is an effort by the creative team of David Connolly and Maggie Struckmeier of the British Archaeological Jobs Resource.

Each issue of the e-magazine will include feature articles, a list of ongoing archaeological projects, an editorial, a recipe from Dig Cook Annie Evans, an equipment store, and a crossword and cartoon. Paola Arosio and Diego Meozzi's Stone Pages provides the news feed. The format is a Flash one, from Digipage, and features flip, direct links and embedded videos. Very nice indeed.

The first issue was published this month and is available online today. Bravo to David and Maggie!
