Just what we all needed right about now: a new theory of how Stonehenge was built from fake rock band Spinal Tap's Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest), as interviewed by Jim Piddock.
- Nigel's Theories; five videos from the National Geographic. The webpage automatically cycles through all NatGeo videos beginning with Nigel's rendition.

As Nigel says, if you've done the kind of research he's done, then you know the truth. Thanks to Alun Salt for the heads-up.

The comment on Stonehenge being made out of wood was interesting. Alex Gibson wrote a book ‘Stonehenge and Timber Circles’ where he argued that the use of woodworking techniques said something about the way people thought about the stones.
I’m not convinced by the idea of T.Rex drooling over it though. T.Rex lived in Western North America.
