Unlocking the Great Pyramid is the first new film featured in National Geographic's Expedition Week. It airs tonight, November 16, 2008, at 9 pm ET, on the National Geographic Channel.

In this video, Egyptologist Bob Brier explores the ideas of Jean-Pierre Houdin, one of what must be legions of people who have tried to figure out how in the world the Great Pyramid of Khufu was built, more than 4500 years ago. Houdin's is a fascinating idea--and Brier leads us deftly through the theory, scrambling through the chambers inside the tomb and the walls outside it.
