Tonight, November 17, 2008, the National Geographic Channel airs something that has absolutely nothing to do with archaeology. Further, I didn't get to preview the video.
Earth Rise from the Moon
Photo (c) 2008 JAXA
But the photographs I have seen from the film are so extraordinary, I'll risk your displeasure for wandering so far off-topic. Direct from the Moon is reported to include gobs of new high resolution images and video taken of the moon and of earth by the Japanese lunar orbiter known as Kaguya. I'm going to be there. 9 pm Eastern Time.

You forgot “Stonehenge Decoded” on Thursday
NatGeo didn’t send me Stonehenge Decoded, so I didn’t get a chance to review it. What did you think about it?
