On its online avatar, Archaeology magazine has posted an important article by Andrew Curry on the effect climate change is having on archaeological sites and cultural heritage around the world.

The impact the article details on archeological sites is frightening.

I agree with Kimball’s words that a people losing that connection to their history is losing something pretty important. It brings to mind the Fiji people, who just found their own past. That connection and concurrent addition to identity of self and past culture is important.
