Ah, it must be summer time; the 21st century's Druids were at the 4000-year-old megalithic monstrosity Stonehenge this morning, along with Matt Cardy, who took his annual trip to Stonehenge this morning to record the event.

And although I'm reliably told that the Iron Age Druids were not simply shamans, as I asserted a few days ago, I'm certain they didn't build Stonehenge, although they probably hung out there when the occasion warranted.

Looking forward to seeing the various Solstice data.
Please note that Carrowkeel megalithic cemetery is in Co. Sligo (west of Ireland), and Bru na Boine is where Newgrange henge, Knowth & Dowth are located (east of Ireland). They are not physically connected (but spiritually they are, no doubt). And yes, I agree, the Druids did not build Stonehenge!
Stonehenge is a monstrosity?!
Oops, thanks for telling me about Carrowkeel–someday I’ll have to go wander around the world and get a better sense of geography.
I was only kidding about Stonehenge! It’s monstrously large, you must admit…
