How old is it? Modern techniques of dating archaeological sites and objects have been developed over the past 150 years. This six-day course describes the history of dating techniques, and explains many of the methods used by archaeologists to determine the age of objects, from stratigraphy to dendrochronology to radiocarbon dating to fission track dating.
