A 2012 compilation of six videos made between 2000-2010, Ancient Marvels includes videos on the monumental construction work that it took to build Stonehenge, the Sphinx, Machu Picchu, the Parthenon, Easter Island's moai, and the Song Dynasty Rainbow Bridge in China. Each one of these ancient monuments, from the Sphinx at 4500 years ago to the latest Easter Island moai at 400 years ago, is investigated by a team of international scholars, including archaeologists, historians, engineers, sculptors and wood workers.
Each video is just under an hour long, and together they represent a glimpse of the monumental labor and ingenuity required by ancient architects from all over the world, not to mention the monumental curiosity and ingenuity of modern scholars to figure out how those structures might have been built.
