Hilazon Tachtit is a cave in modern Israel, where about 30 people were buried during the Natufian period about 12,000 years ago.

The site has a couple of important elements: it has the earliest-to-date evidence of feasting (which is how I ran across it), and one of the burials in it is believed to be that of a shaman. The evidence is pretty compelling...
