Ignacio Bernal [1910-1992]

Definition: Mexican archaeologist Ignacio Bernal was an influential pioneer of the study of Mexico's prehistory. He is probably best known for his investigations at the Zapotec site of Monte Alban and the Aztec site of Tenochititlan.
