Hiram Bingham [1875-1956]

Definition: American explorer and diplomat Hiram Bingham had an enormously varied life, which included chasing after Simon Bolivar, being Lieutenant Governor and then Senator of the American state of Connecticut, and, oh yes, the re-discovery of the great Inca chief's residence, Machu Picchu.
