Our guest for the March 25 Articulations is Dr. Judith A. Bense, Chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of the University of South Florida, and the University of South Florida Archaeology Institute.

Dr. Bense authored the definitive text book on Southeastern Archaeology titled Archaeology of the Southeastern United States: Paleoindian to World War I (1994, Academic Press), which is available in paperback or hardback at Barnes and Noble.com. She co-authored (with Jerald T. Milanich) Archaeology of Colonial Pensacola (1999, University of Florida Press, which is available in hardback at the same source.

Dr. Bense is an accomplished professional archaeologist who currently serves on the Board of Directors and Chair of the Government Affairs Committee for the Society for Historical Archaeology.
