Kwang-chih Chang [1931-2001]

Definition: Chinese archaeologist, taught at Harvard and Yale University in the United States. More than anyone else, Chang brought the archaeology of  East Asia to the attention of the western world; he was also a major player in the formation of the theoretical underpinnings of modern archaeology and was pretty much the originator of Taiwanese archaeology.
