J. Desmond Clark 1916-2002

Definition: British archaeologist Desmond Clark spent the majority of his career investigating the prehistory of Africa, particularly Olduvai Gorge and Kalambo Falls, although he conducted considerable work in India and China as well. He was long associated with the University of California at Berkeley.
