Globular amphora culture

Definition: Part of the Danubian period (3500-1700 BC) of Baltic states prehistory; the people associated with the Globular amphora culture built small rectangular houses and hill forts; they also domesticated horses. Ceramics were (surprise!) globular amphorae, decorated with cord-impressions and triangles.
