Catal Hoyuk

Definition: British archaeologist, and undoubtedly one of the most influential researchers of modern archaeology. Hodder is a probably pigeon-holed as a post-processualist, but is interested in the archaeological expression (or lack of it) of the symbols, beliefs, and ideas of the past. Most recently, has conducted long-time archaeological work at the site of Catal Hoyuk, Turkey.
