Ile-Ife

Definition: Urban center in Nigeria, first occupied in the 1st millennium AD, and most populous during the 14th and 15th centuries AD. Ile-Ife is the traditional location of the creation of the world for the Yoruba people.

Arthur Hall opened a museum for the Yoruba art in Philadelphia in 1969; and he naturally called it Ile-Ife (which can translate to "House of Love".
