Definition: Empire established by the nomadic peoples called Junjen (or Jurchen) in the waning days of the Northern Song Dynasty in China, ca. 1113 AD , and finally subjugated by Genghis Khan during the 13th century AD. Traditional dates for Jin Empire are 1125-1224 AD.
