Definition:
Hoabinhian culture site in Thailand, a ound measuring some 12 acres in area and 40 feet high on the Bang Pakong River. Occupied between 2000-15000 BC, the site contains a cemetery, and evidence of fishing, shell-harvesting, and shell-jewelry production. Equivocal evidence of rice cultivation includes possible farming tools out of shell.
