The American Southwest Maya Archaeology
Definition:
American archaeologist A.V. Kidder is primarily known for his work in the American southwest and with Maya sites. He was a proponent of using specialist scholars on archaeological sites (called "multidisciplinary") and in fact conducted his Mayan expeditions such as Kaminaljuyu, Guatemala as multidisciplinary projects. He is associated with the Peabody Museum at Harvard, and the School of American Research.
