Definition: Upper Paleolithic culture in Siberia (13,000 and 12,200 years before the present), Kokorevo sites are marked by large blade industry; these sites are considered a regional variant of Diuktai and Afonotevo cultures. Named for the type site, which is in Siberia and contained evidence of butchery of a steppe buffalo (Bison priscus).
