Definition: Archaeological culture on the east coast of Canada, particularly Labrador, 7500-3500 BC. The people were primarily hunter and gatherers, who also relied on maritime food sources such as fish, seals, seabirds, and walrus.

Examples: Port au Choix (Labrador), L'Anse Amour (Newfoundland)
