Mimbres culture

Definition:
Archaeological culture of the American southwest, and considered the Classic phase of the Mogollon culture, the Mimbres peoples were located along the Mimbres and Gila rivers of southwest New Mexico between AD 1000-1150. Best known, probably, for the production of ceramic vessel decorations called "black and white".
