Stone Circles
A Photographic Tour
Stone Circles
by Tom Bullock

Guide Rating -

Planning a trip to see Stone Henge? Well, don't forget Newgrange, or the Nine Ladies, or the Twelve Apostles. How do you find out about these ancient megalithic stone monuments, you ask? Well, you consult your Stone Circles CD of course. This CD, subtitled "A Photographic Tour," provides an intimate, detailed glimpse into the history and mystery of the ancient monuments of Britain's past.

This amazing CD-Rom developed by Tom Bullock and distributed by Andy Burnham of the Megalithic Site (which is a pretty serious commendation right there), Stone Circles includes pictures, texts, history, clickable maps, instructions on how to get to the sites, and a wealth of additional information on over 500 megalithic sites throughout the United Kingdom. I can't imagine going without consulting this CD first... and if you can't go to Stone Henge (or you dislike crowds and clutter), get the CD anyway.
