Are there many dig sites in big city areas, or do most digs take place in remote areas where you have to take a small, dangerous plane (I hate small planes!)
Digs take place pretty much everywhere in the world, some remote, some right in big city downtowns. If you work for a specific CRM firm, they may only expect you to make it to their office, which if you're lucky is located in a relatively large city. They can make travel arrangements to get you to the site from their offices. But, it varies from company to company, so be sure to ask.
